Error codes
GF
Fault name : Ground Fault
-
Current shorted to ground esceeded 50% of rated current on output side of the drive.
-
Setting L8-09 to 1 enables ground fault detection in models 2A0020 to 2A0069 and 4A0011 to 4A0038.
Cause : Motor insulation is damaged
Possible solution : Check the insulation resistance of the motor.
Replace the motor.
LF
Fault name : Output Phase Loss
-
Phase loss on the output side of the drive.
-
Phase loss detection is enabled when L8-07 is set to 1 or 2.
Cause1 : The output cable is disconnected
Possible solution : Check for wiring errors and ensure the output cable is connected properly.
Correct the wiring.
Cause2 : The motor winding is damaged.
Possible solution : Check the resistance between motor lines.
Replace the motor if the winding is damaged.
Cause3 : The output terminal is loose.
Possible solution: Apply the tightening torque specified in the manual to fasten the terminals. Refer to Wire Size and Torque Specifications on page 66.
Cause4 : The motor being used in less than 5% of the drive rated current.
Possible solution : Check the drive and motor capacities.
Cause5 : An output transistor is damaged.
Possible solution : Replace the drive.
Cause6 : A single-phase moto ris being used.
Possible solution : The drive being used cannot operate a single phase motor.
rr
Fault name : Dynamic Braking Transistor
The built-in dynamic braking transistor failed.
Cause1 : The braking transistor is damaged.
Possible solution : Cycle power to the drive and check if the fault reoccurs. Refer to Diagnosing and Resetting Faults on page 298.
Replace the drive if the fault continues.
Cause2 : The control circuit is damaged.
Possible solution : Cycle power to the drive and check if the fault reoccurs. Refer to Diagnosing and Resetting Faults on page 298.
Replace the drive if the fault continues.
